Job Details
Lead quality assurance for telecom products by validating network protocols, DPI functionality, and high-performance systems through testing and automation.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute test strategies for network protocol and DPI validation.
- Verify protocol compliance across Layer 2 to Layer 7 networking.
- Perform packet capture analysis using industry-standard diagnostic tools.
- Validate throughput, latency, scalability, and system performance.
- Develop automated test suites using Python and shell scripting.
- Maintain networking labs and test environments for product validation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve product quality and release readiness.
- Ensure compliance with networking standards and detailed test documentation.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of QA experience in telecom or networking products.
- Strong understanding of OSI model, TCP/IP, IPv4, and IPv6.
- Hands-on expertise in Wireshark, tcpdump, and traffic analysis.
- Experience testing DPI, network protocols, and packet processing systems.
- Proficiency in Linux, Python, and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with performance testing and traffic generation tools.
- Experience with Git, Jira, and structured test management.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
