Lead quality assurance for enterprise-grade telecom applications spanning Web interfaces, REST APIs, and backend services. As a Lead QA Engineer, you'll define testing strategies, mentor QA teams, and ensure reliable product releases through functional validation, API testing, database verification, and automation. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on testing to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead QA planning, execution, and release readiness across projects.
- Design comprehensive test strategies for Web and REST API applications.
- Validate business workflows, API responses, and database integrity.
- Develop and maintain API test suites using Postman and automation tools.
- Manage Linux-based test environments and application deployments.
- Integrate automated smoke and regression tests into CI pipelines.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to resolve quality risks.
- Mentor QA engineers and drive continuous quality improvement.
Requirements
- 6–9 years of Web and API testing experience.
- Prior experience leading QA teams or project delivery.
- Strong expertise in REST API, functional, and regression testing.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, MySQL, and data validation.
- Proficiency in Linux administration and Docker environments.
- Experience with Postman, Git, Jira, and CI tools.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks and test scripting.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
