The Challenge

Access to safe, reliable drinking water remains a persistent challenge for rural communities across Rajasthan. In the chaks (villages) of Shri Ganganagar, residents needed a dependable, sustainable solution — one that could deliver clean water without straining limited energy resources.

/ What We Did /

Our Initiative

In partnership with the 5G Chhoti Gram Panchayat, PertSol launched a CSR initiative to bring solar-powered UV water purification to seven rural chaks in Shri Ganganagar. The programme was designed around sustainability and energy efficiency, ensuring communities gain long-term access to safe drinking water through infrastructure they can own and maintain locally.

What We Delivered

Each location received equipment tailored to its specific needs, including:

  • Solar modules for clean, renewable power
  • UV water purification plants with a capacity of 1,000 litres per hour
  • Water coolers for accessible drinking water
  • Inverters to ensure uninterrupted operation
  • Underground wells to strengthen local water sourcing

Delivery Partners

Installation and commissioning were carried out by trusted local partners, M/s Rudra Water Solutions and M/s KK Constructions, ensuring on-ground expertise and accountability throughout deployment.

/ Our Goals /

Lasting Community Ownership

Upon successful deployment, all assets were permanently transferred to the 5G Chhoti Gram Panchayat — enabling long-term community ownership and local management of the infrastructure. The agreement was formalised between Gurjot Singh Sandhu, Director, PertSol, and Gurpreet Kaur, Administrator, Gram Panchayat 5G Chhoti Saharanawali.
