Detect Exploitation. Protect the Vulnerable.
Protecting children online demands the ability to identify exploitation activity early, within vast volumes of network traffic. PertSol's solution applies deep packet inspection and pattern-based filtering to help law enforcement detect the signals of online child exploitation and act on them. By surfacing relevant activity from within high-volume data gives investigators the means to identify offenders faster and intervene to protect those at risk.

The Obstacles We Were Up Against
Signals were lost in the volume
The traffic that carried exploitation activity sat within enormous volumes of ordinary network data. Investigators had no practical way to isolate the relevant signals at scale, and critical indicators stayed buried. Without automated inspection and filtering, agencies were left reacting to reports after harm had occurred, rather than detecting activity early enough to intervene and protect those at risk.
Manual review couldn't scale
Activity crossed many channels

How We Address This

Deep Packet Inspection
PertSol applies DPI to examine network traffic in depth, helping investigators surface activity relevant to a child-protection investigation from within high-volume data flows.

DPI-Based Inspection
Network traffic is examined in depth to surface relevant activity.

Traffic Analysis
Communication flows are analysed to identify activity of interest.

Multi-Network Coverage
Activity is examined across different networks together.

Pattern-Based Filtering
Pattern-based keyword filtering isolates the communications and activity that warrant investigation, helping agencies focus limited resources on the signals that matter most.

Keyword Filtering
Pattern-based filtering isolates communications of concern.

Pattern Identification
Recurring indicators are surfaced for investigator review.

Content Filtering
Relevant material is separated from ordinary traffic.

Metadata Correlation
Communications metadata is cross-referenced to connect related activity, helping investigators build a consolidated picture across the channels where exploitation occurs.

Metadata Correlation
Records are cross-referenced to reveal connected activity.

Link Analysis
Connections between actors are mapped for investigators.

xDR Generation
Detailed records are generated to support analysis.

Identity & Network Profiling
Correlating activity to identities helps investigators move from anonymous traffic toward the individuals and networks responsible, supporting both prosecution and protection.

Identity Correlation
Activity is linked to the identities behind it.

Network Mapping
Connections between offenders are visualised for investigators.

Anomaly Detection
Unusual activity is flagged for investigator review

Outcomes Beyond Expectations
By applying deep packet inspection and pattern-based filtering across high-volume traffic, PertSol helps law enforcement detect online child exploitation earlier and act on it — surfacing the activity that manual review could never reach and supporting the protection of those at risk.

Signals Surfaced at Scale
DPI and filtering isolate relevant activity from within high volumes of network data.

Focused Investigations
Pattern-based filtering directs limited resources to the activity that warrants attention.

A Consolidated Picture
Metadata correlation connects activity across the channels where exploitation occurs.

Toward Offender Identity
Identity correlation helps investigators move from anonymous traffic to those responsible.
